Day 01: Delhi

Our representative will meet at arrival hall of IGI airport, Delhi Holding paging board of your Name,   assists you  check -in at the hotel.

India’s capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. Stay overnight at Delhi.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Delhi

After breakfast,09-00 AM driver will meet you hotel and  proceed for a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. This fascinating city has been in existence since the 6th century BC. Visit Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. The courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi…noisy, chaotic and uniquely Indian. You will then visit the Red Fort, which was constructed during the rule of Emperor Shah Jahan and served as the residence for the Mughal royal family. It continues to be significant till date, as every Independence Day, the Prime Minister makes a speech from its ramparts as the Indian flag is hoisted. Later, drive past India Gate, President House and several other government buildings in Edwin Lutyen’s Delhi before you head towards Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. This simple memorial marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Thereafter, visit Humayun’s Tomb, commissioned by Humayun’s wife in 1562. It was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent where the Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale. Later in the evening visit the Qutab Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world, commissioned by the first Muslim ruler of Delhi. Stay overnight at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra (210 km/ approx. 4 hours)

Post breakfast, we will leave for Agra. On arrival check –into the pre- booked hotel.

AGRA: Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire – giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. A walk down the narrow bustling streets of the city will introduce the visitor to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine.

Afternoon visit:

AGRA FORT – Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture, perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction.
Proceed to visit the It mad Dullah’s Tomb (also known as the BABY TAJ). Stay overnight at Agra.

Day 04: Agra –Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri - Jaipur (260 km/approx. 5-6 hours)

Early morning, we will leave for sunrise view of Taj Mahal:

TAJ MAHAL: Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist’s visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen.
After breakfast proceed to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, a side drive of 20 KMS visit Abhaneri Step well.

Fatehpur Sikri – The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its “ruins” are in pristine condition … it’s not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.

Abhaneri  – Abhaneri is prominent for ‘Baoris’, step wells which were invented by the natives to harvest rain water. These tanks were used as cool places of retreat and as water reservoirs during parched times of the year. Chand Baori is the most popular of the wells in the region, and it is one of India’s deepest and largest. There are three ways to reach the water using the steps, which are divided into stories. This colossal, delicately carved well is located in front of the Harshat Mata Temple. It was a ritual to wash the hands and feet at the well before visiting the adjoining temple.

On arrival, Check -into the pre- booked Hotel. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 04: Jaipur

After breakfast, proceed for full-day sightseeing trip of Jaipur, also known as the ‘Pink City’. The city of Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, famous for its colourful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. Visit the Amber Fort. The best way to explore the fort is to ride atop an Elephant. Prominent structures inside the fort are the Diwan-i-aam, adorned with latticed galleries, the Ganesh Pol, with a beautiful painted image of Lord Ganesh and the stunning Sheesh Mahal, a hall decorated with thousands of tiny mirrors. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” This stunning façade with its ornately carved latticework windows was designed, to let the ladies at the palace look out onto the streets without being observed. Later you will visit the City Palace, again, a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The museums here showcase rare and ancient manuscripts, arms dating back to the15th century, and costumes of erstwhile royalty. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, comprising geometric devices for measuring time, and tracking stars in their orbits. Stay overnight at Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur – Kochi ( By flight )

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Jaipur airport for a connecting flight to Kochi. We catch an early morning flight to Kochi today, in the beautiful southern state of Kerala. On arrival, in the Kochi airport, we will meet and assists you in a pre-booked Hotel.

Day at leisure. Overnight will be in Kochi.

Day 06: Kochi – Munnar ( By car, approx. 04 hours’ drive)

Today we travel to the picturesque former hill station of Munnar, surrounded by sprawling tea plantations. We take a stroll through a local tea plantation and visit a local market, before the rest of the day is free to relax as you please. You may wish to visit nearby Blossom Park and enjoy cycling or boating in your stunning surroundings. Overnight will be at the Munnar.

Later proceed to the Wagah Border (less than 30 kilometers from the city) between India and Pakistan,  At Wagah Border, witness the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs. Solders parading in full swing and the sight of India-Pakistan border from such close quarters will evoke a sense of nostalgia.

After visit, return back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Munnar

Post breakfast, you will  visit Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Rose Garden, an elephant safari, spice plantation visit, tea museum, and Attukad Waterfalls. Make a short photo stop of the Mattupetty Dam from the bridge overlooking a viewing area on the way back to Munnar. Make a stop at Wonder Valley Adventure Park in Anachal for rejuvenating yourself in the midst of the nature.

Overnight will be at the Munnar.

Day 08: Munnar – Periyar (By car, approx. 04 hours’ drive)

Post breakfast, we drive south to Periyar, South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary and home to bison, antelopes, sambar, wild boar, birds and even the odd tiger! Kumily, close to the sanctuary and where we’ll stay, is a pretty little town dotted with small spice and handicraft shops.

Evening enjoy a boat ride on the Periyar lake to spot a heard of the elephants & species of the birds. Overnight will be at the Periyar.

Day 09: Periyar – Kumarakom ( By car, approx. 3 ½ hours drive)

Today, we leave Periyar and take a drive to Kumarakom – a village spread over a cluster of islands on Lake Vembanad.We will  take evening boat ride on the lake or visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to many rare bird species and is an important stopover for migratory birds in the winter (Nov-May). Overnight stay will be in Kumarakom.

Day 10: Kumarakom - Alleppey - Keralan Backwaters

Today, we will take a scenic drive to Alleppey. Here, we board you in a houseboat, after lunch a voyage will start through the famous Kerala backwaters. Through your house boat journey, you will witness  the enchanting palm-fringed backwaters, covering a distance of some 20 kms, during which time the boat glides past local villages and fascinating scenes of everyday rural life. Watch a beautiful sunset over the backwaters and enjoy tasty meals  prepared by the on-board chef using fresh local produce.

Day 11: Alleppey – Kochi ( Approx. 02 hours’ drive)

Post breakfast, we will check –out from house boat and drive to Kochi. Formerly a princely state, Kochi is also fondly referred to as “The Queen of the Arabian Sea”.

Today, we will visit Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese fishing Net, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace etc. This evening you can opt for an optional tour to watch an entertaining and traditional Kathakali dance show. Overnight stay will be in Kochi.

Day 12: Kochi-Home

Today, we will board you in the flight to home.
